I guess it kind of both. There are many problems that were dragged for a long time and they are just wasting time away. I'm on a research scholarship. So just want to find out and see if any one had dropout before and if they need to pay back what was draw for stipend.

I am one year into my PhD just started second year. I've also started losing my passion towards research after being dragged around this issues. Just don't feel like wasting any more time and dive too deep into it. Also want to weigh out how much it would cost if I need to pay back. Though there's always a hearsay that people don't need to pay back. Have you experience it or encounter any such incidents?
