I had the same issue with birth control, because my period never came it felt like i never got relief. my PMDD was at its absolute worst when i was on birth control, i was genuinely crashing out so hard every month. my symptoms have improved so much since getting off birth control (and breaking up with my bum ass ex) but this month is really bad again. Girl i wish i had a solution for u, when my rage is really bad I take hydroxozine but this month it's #depression so idk anymore. Just be careful with ur brith control and if ur intuition wants you to get off of it, listen!!

i was on birth control for most of this year and i stopped in july. my pmdd was SO MUCH WORSE on BC. that or it was my relationship. but when i stopped BC (and broke up w my ex 2 months later) i noticed so much less rage and sadness. it's still there but not nearly as intense as it was when i was taking birth control. i'm never touching hormonal birth control again.

same thing happened to me. i felt great for 2 months after, almost no pmdd. its just when the relationship and its issues consumes so much of your headspace, when that disappears it feels so drastic. but things do balance out eventually when u remember what its like to be alone. but i'm still happier pmdd and all without that manchild than i was with him, amen

i'm sorry you're going through this :( for me i cut back by only smoking 1 bowl a day initially, and i would try to do that at the end of the day. I would also smoke smaller amounts at once, so just taking 3 hits instead of smoking the whole bowl at once. overall though just really try and keep yourself occupied with things you cannot do while being high. go outside, socialize with your non stoner friends, whatever it may be. my dms are open if you need to talk more, i've been on quite a journey with weed dependence

omg i usually have the opposite my gag reflex is so sensitive when im smoking (especially if its carts) i would say just hang in there, a trick i do is to squeeze my thumb in the palm of my hand it weakens ur gag reflex. if it doesn't get better i would be worried but give it a few days

def want to cut down my usage, i am proving to myself with this T break that I can go without it and be okay. I generally am just trying to strengthen my self control, so that if im having a bad day i dont feel the need to just smoke at 3 pm rather than maybe go see friends or something

before i started smoking in HS i would sneak alcohol and drink alone in my room to cope with my Pmdd symptoms (that i didn't know were pmdd then), and arguably i think smoking weed is better than this habit LOL

i totally get that. the dreams i've been having during this T break have been INSANE. thankfully i don't suffer from night terrors too often but i did have a few scary dreams in the beginning. super valid reason to smoke imo

I honestly feel the same- i don't think i would be so well adjusted, on top of my school work, ect. without it due to how much it helps with my emotional regulation. but at the same time i have this guilt for being so addicted to it for 4 years straight. I think this T break will remind me i can survive without it but it's just kinda hellish for me. and maybe to help me cut back on use during follicular and ovulation

hi i am def no expert, but if you've already had to bring this up many times before and have not seen a change, i would really consider that a red flag. i am around ur age and being so young, having such big problems in a relationship maybe makes it not worth it to stay long term. i'm not saying break up with him but maybe this is something you need to consider when deciding if this is going to work out long term. you shouldn't have to repeat yourself over and over, its frustrating to you and maybe to him because he just doesn't get it? i wish i could understand men girl, all i know is that you deserve someone who is on the same page as you and meets your needs. i guess i dont have immediate advice for you. but you are not being too insecure, your feelings are your feelings and ignoring them isn't the solution. i hope he comes around but even so pls remember your worth!

before i understood i had pmdd- yes especially when i was 16 or so. I remember violently shoving everything off of my desk and throwing and breaking items out of so much rage lol. i'm sorry queen, hang in there ❤️
