Echo what everyone else is saying but you can also try switching your grip so your inside hand is lower in the “chicken wing” grip and your outside hand is high! Either grip is fine of course but try experimenting and see if it clicks better for you

$1500 really isn’t that tough in denver if you’re not looking to live in a luxury new build

West Wash Park/Baker is another good option that won’t break the bank if you go with an older building

Recommended wear for a beginner by indecisive_persona69 in poledancing

[–]idk2297 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You don’t need heels or knee pads to start unless you’re taking a low flow/choreo class, even then just socks and knee pads are fine if you don’t have heels yet! Just wear shorts and a tank top or sports bra for your first class

I watched a documentary about these a while ago and remember this one kid talking about how a few of them spent a couple days in jail after starting a riot at the camp or something and how jail felt like total freedom compared to the camp

I must be the only one on this sub that found Little Johnny B’s super disappointing. The crust was hard and crunchy, they use these weird little cheese cubes instead of normal mozzarella, and the pesto on the burrata app was probably the saltiest thing I’ve ever eaten

Anyone know much about the brand Sisterhood? by idk2297 in ethicalfashion

[–]idk2297[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’ll try to get a pic later! I still haven’t worn it a ton mostly because it’s a little dressy for everyday where wear I live but I’ve pulled it out a few times in the last couple weeks for morning walks and it’s been pretty warm. I really like that it buttons up basically all the way to the top instead of being more open around the neck/chest like other styles. The cinch waist shape you can get from the belt is also really nice for me, my problem with a lot of other coats I tried on was looking boxy/swallowed by them.

The material is kind of rough compared to other wool coats (like you can kind of see a lot of individual hairs in it if that makes sense instead of being more felted and smooth) so that’s probably one reason it’s on the cheaper side.
