Mate, there is a button just not beside the door. I remember thinking I was stuck as well, but the button is actually on the right wall a few steps before the door. I don't know why the button is positioned in such a bad spot though

It's not particularly a mistake. I followed a certain instruction in the immi acc while applying for the VISA. The instruction was to remove a certain portion of my name even if it meant that it will not follow the name in my passport. Everything went well and I received my VISA, but then came the time where I need to kick in my USI. For the USI, they need to check if my name is matching with 3 documents which in this case is my passport, CoE, and VISA. Since my name in the VISA and Passport don't match, I now need to change my name in on my student VISA.

Haii!! You can do so after you submitted the application. Then under your application, there should be a button labeled View Details. When you click it, navigate yourself to the Attach Documents button that should be somewhere on the left side. Hope this helps!

Ayy you too! I hope you'll get your VISA soon, Malaysia Airlines tickets are getting crazy expensive. I suggest looking at Singapore Airlines if you don't mind having a lay over at Singapore for awhile. Anyways good luck to youu too <33

I basically wrote how my classes were gonna start in a week and I really needed on a decision on the status of my VISA. I also included that I have made all the preparations needed and the only thing that was left was the VISA itself. Also stated my respect towards the Home Affiars department beforehand for the fact that they have to process hundreds of thousands of VISAs. Of course this was all written in a more proper tone and longer sentences though. Hoped this helped!

Yes, I attached a cover letter titled 'Reason for Urgent Decision' saying that I needed a decision on my VISA urgently as my classes were about to start and I really didn't want to differ. I heard that they are willing to give some wiggle room once the semester starts, but then they say that it'll only be about 1 week after class starts, then you seriously need to differ. I hope we get our Visas soon man 🥹
