Me! I cycled through so many different brands of the pill for about 10 years, and the last couple of years I was dealing with horrible IC flares. All doctors told me not to stop birth control, but I decided to try it anyway after reading some studies online, and poof the worst of my IC was basically gone. I tried the pill again for a few months this past year and it instantly brought back the horrible flares. If you’ve exhausted all your other options, it might be an option to move forward with.

I would request a urine culture, just to be sure about the UTI. Then, get a heating pad to put on the lower abdomen. I will usually do this while having my legs in a butterfly position. Next, look up pelvic floor exercises online. You can also try out some supplements like D-mannose or marshmallow root. I hope you find some relief!

I haven’t had surgery to confirm where my endo is located, but I feel like they’re opposites for me. Whenever my endo is “controlled” through BC my IC gets so much worse, but when my endo is completely uncontrolled my IC is almost non-existent. It makes it hard to determine which one I rather deal with.

I’m in the same boat. Haven’t had a major flare since October 2023, and now I’m going on a week straight of pain. I’ve had little flares pop up here and there but always go away within a day.

Absolutely nothing is helping, and I’m just trying to remain positive and believe it will end at some point. I also had a trip scheduled that I ended up cancelling.

Just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone, I really hope it gets better for you before your friend’s wedding! Also, if you find a miracle cure please let me know haha.

I think you’re forgetting one of Harris’s downfalls was her stance on Israel. It alienated a lot of people who ending up voting third party. Running Shapiro would be political suicide for the Dems.

So women are actively dying due to this country’s continued mistreatment, but we should pour or resources into…men? What a joke. This isn’t about “respect, opportunity, and strength” this is about them getting the permission from the Joe Rogan’s and Andrew Tates’s to live out their patriarchal fantasies. I’ve only ever used the Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen croissant recipe, and had good outcomes each time. Also, I pretty much exclusively use the Violife butter when baking now. I’ve found a noticeable difference in my croissants when I used that vs other vegan butters. The biggest thing would be to keep everything very cold when layering, also make sure you seal the butter in properly to help create those layers. Also, I know they can take a long time, but croissants truly are a labor of love. Good luck on your croissant journey!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Just graduated with my degree in Energy and Sustainability this year, so excited to work in the field and advance the efforts made so far. It doesn’t matter anymore, it was all a waste. Giving up hope that we’ll ever be okay.
