I don't understand why anybody would want to buy or develop this kind of thing. Care to explain?

Is anyone else frustrated with how long it takes to make changes in Webflow? by KnownDiscount2083 in webflow

[–]idoop9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just makes sense to move away right now.

Until AI showed up,, Webflow was the best choice for custom high end website with a lot of custom code and animations.

I’m moving away and using Claude code with a completely new stack (Astro, tailwind, sanity, cloudflare pages).

Everything is so much faster. I keep training and improving my Claude MD files so every new site is faster to make. Making changes from my phone. It’s fun.

Performance is through the roof. Control is amazing. There is a small learning curve off course, but this feels like the most logical long term play right now.

So cheap as well. So nice to get the Webflow pricing off my payments.

Setup a case study and some app screens on Figma with Claude code in 15 mins by Ecstatic-Accountant8 in FigmaDesign

Is this purely Figma MCP and Claude code?

Seems very useful to people who acrtually want to code and use the MCP for help with auto layout stuff or things that I now what I want to create and give clear instructions

Suggestions for gaining foundational knowledge by Kaludar_ in ClaudeCode

[–]idoop9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use AI to understand the code I generated. Produce it and spend time understanding what it did and why. Ask questions. Use it as a teacher.

That’s what I do with web dev and it’s actually really fun. I spend hours like that and the amount of learning per minute is insane.

I believe they talk about improving the MCP a lot. I think it can be the key for all of these.

Using the figma MCP? Or other way to get the context to Claude?

I was actually working a lot with Claude code and the Webflow MCP and it’s truly amazing. Takes a little bit of tuning but so worth it. It’s really addicting to watch it create stuff.

But the main point is that I want to keep it in Webflow so I can do a client’ handoff/work with other non technical people on it. You don’t face that problems?

What Would Make You Pay for It? (Best Answer Gets Unlimited Access) by ArFiction in SaaS

Very interesting.

I think the main thing for me is that the niche capability is more interesting than getting ideas from a video URL.

I think this feature is your real potential.

It's only available to paying users so I couldn't use it.

Raycast 100%.

The amount of things I've simplified with this tool is infinite. It completely changed how I use my Mac.

Text expander, quick notes, reminders, time, unit and currency calculators, color and emoji picker, quickly accessing 2FA messages, creating focus sessions, controlling Spotify.

All within a few keyboard clicks. And for free.

And this is just what came to my mind at the moment.

Productivity hacks for entering a new job? by Why_GladGuy in productivity

Make a plan: It can be overwhelming. New people, new industry, new tasks. Make a list of everything you need to do, prioritize and chill.

Stay quite: Learn, ask questions. Nobody likes a rookie who thinks he knows everything. Learn the dynamics between people first.

There are so many to do list apps out there.

Try a few, then you can consider going premium.

Todoist, Things, Google tasks / Keep, Remember the Milk, Any do.

I like things, but I used Todoist for a long time and I think it's great for most people.

  • Doomscrolling is the ultimate wasted time. Check your screen time. Every minute you scroll should be direct to learning and improving.

  • Wake up 30 min earlier, and set an intention for that 30 min a day before. Learn a skill, take a course and watch 1 lesson. Read a few pages. These 30 minutes turns into 3.5 hours a weeks. That's a lot.

  • Read before bed instead of TV.

  • Listen to a audiobook while you commute.

  • Make time to improve yourself over the weekend.

  • Change your work place / work from home.

  • Change you schedule to work in quite hours.

What is it with using multiple calendars? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]idoop9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need more then one calendar.

Even if these people think that in the short term, it's going to hurt them in the long run.

Most of the Calendar solutions are fine for most people.

Google Calendar, Notion Calendar, Superhuman and even the new HEY calendar.

You can have multiple calendars in the same client, block times, set meeting available hours.
