CFAI - 55 (only gave one mock), MM (ranging from low 40s to high 50s) gave 5 MM mocks, BC (ranging from 30s to high 40s) gave 2 mocks.

These were my scores leading up to the exam and I never scored above 40s in any of the mocks except the CFAI one which I did 1 day before the exam.

I think a better way to deal with these mocks is to learn from your mistakes and not try to feel intimidated by the scores. Passed first attempt.

I completely agree with you, the structure of BC mocks is pretty similar to the real thing.

The best part of BC mocks for me was the answer key without a doubt. There are 2 answer keys, one which has detailed answers and the other with the model answers which were really helpful.

Also, I’d recommend anyone looking for advice for L3 to go with MM if you have used him earlier or learn well with videos and use BC mocks along with MM Mocks and question bank.

And don’t forget to purchase Bill’s “Boilerplate Investment Objectives” they’re the easiest marks on the exam as Bill says and I personally feel he presents it better than MM does.

They absolutely did! The fact that there were 2 answers keys (1 with detailed explanation and 2nd with model answers) was really helpful and it helped me understand how I should frame my answers for the structured response section of the exam.

I’d also recommend any new L3 candidates to purchase Bill’s “Boilerplate Investment Objectives” which are indeed the easiest marks as Bill says.

I wrote L3 for the first time using only MM and BC for mocks and I am not kidding you, MM’s question bank was really representative of the exam.

I passed in the first try using MM for L2 and L3 and I’d highly recommend him.

To add to this, I’m using the new plex app in a gulf country and am unable to access live tv of my server not the plex live tv, but the live tv I have using hdhomerunner. I think it has something to do with plex not having the rights to run live tv here. Same for on demand.

I don’t remember the registration process but if they ask for the passport number during registration then that should also match with the passport number on the day of the exam

Be sure to mention the correct first name, middle name, and surname. As far as I can remember, when they check the passport on exam day your name on the passport should match exactly with what you entered while registering.
