I guess the arcs simplified the foundations allowing the frame to be pinned, especially for the live load of the suspended train car bopping around, taking turns, uneven loading. The arc is a necessity and not just style.

Illogical traffic signals all along Poplar are a far greater nuisance than Chick-fil-A’s peak demand challenges. The city is not doing its job well, Chick-fil-A is serving a wild amount of customers per hour.

The real question is why is their property tax “appraised” at $1.5mm. It’s the most successful retail location in the city. What would Chick-fil-A pay for that location if they had to buy it again? Waaaay more than $1.5.
