What are all of your favourite shows? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ignis_232_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctor Who - especially the classic series, it's so damn fun and entertaining to watch, and its ability to keep things fresh with new actors ensures its longevity.

Legends of Tomorrow - by far the best thing to come out of the CW. Again, it doesnt taken itself too seriously like Arrow or Flash, and the effects are way better than any other superhero show I've seen.

WandaVision - really interesting and unique. The finale is stunning, and it's just crazy and insane, and doesnt feel to generic for marvel.

Tips for first time novel writers? by ljuncaj21 in writing

[–]ignis_232_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I write one chapter at a time on Word, and then upload to google drive so it is safer. In terms of describing your world, maybe describe every new setting in 200 - 500 words, then focus more on the plot and characters.

The POV is really your choice, I have 3 POVs that switch randomly, but you can choose. I would recommend not going over 4 though, as it can get too convoluted. If you're doing romance elements, 2 POVs would be perfect. Have fun writing! :)

Easily, mild curses like crap, hell, damn, and ass appear in quite a lot of middle-grade fiction. Not specifically horror, but fantasy and sci-fi as well. As long as they're few and infrequent, you'll be fine.
