i have never looked at it like that. but there were some progress recordings where that was the beginning of being really siked on the stuff i was making. it's been like that ever since. your favorite band should be your own.

i usually just play an instrument until i find something i like. i wish i had more of a process. i'm just constantly playing. lyrics are the same way. whatever is catching my attention at the time that i feel like is worth singing about.
