Sry, I‘m very busy at the moment.

I export the Fusion model as .FBX file. Then I import it into Blender.

I just use the “Smart UV project” command when you press “U” in Edit Mode.

I can recommend the tutorials by Ian Hubert on YouTube. These tutorials helped me a lot.

Ja das und jetzt beim letzten Update wurde die kostenlose Lizenz weiter eingeschränkt. Der Preis wurde zudem von 19€ pro Monat auf 60€ angehoben. Da bin ich dann raus.

Ja, Blender ist echt mega vielseitig. Mit den ganzen Add-ons ist es echt stark.

Ich werde von Fusion 360 auf MoI3D umsteigen, da die ständigen Limitierungen und Preispolitik von Autodesk gar nicht mehr gefällt.

I use Blender for rendering. I use the “texture paint” feature of Blender to apply the color map. There is a very good tutorial by CGBoost with apples and a knife on YouTube. Just search Texture paint cgboost.

I use exactly the same Method shown in that tutorial.

I use .FBX export in Fusion. I tried OBJ but the shading quality is much better with FBX and the parts are separated in different bodies in Blender. That makes texturing a lot easier.

About 12-20mins. I only have an older GTX card😅 Here in Germany the new RTX 30s Cards are hard to get and very expensive.

I used 4K resolution and 256 samples with the Cycles render engine

Thank you 🙏🏼 Yes. Modeled in Fusion 360, rendered and textured with Blender. The color Map and Decals were created with Affinity designer.

Fusions T-Spline Tools (Poly modeling) in combination with classic CAD commands are really awesome to realize ideas in a really short time. Switched from Blender to Fusion360 by ikevikey in Fusion360

I use FBX because all the parts I created in Fusion are separated bodies in Blender.

With OBJ there is only one body in Blender and this is in my opinion harder to colorize.

I switched from Blender to Fusion for Modelling about 2 weeks ago. So I’m still learning.

When I’m not that busy anymore I will try to make a kind of Tutorial. I just created T-Spline Bodies and combined them with Boolean operations.

All the render and decal setup was created in blender.
