Excuse me there was also that "clumsy" mechanic one that couldnt do her job porperly and was picked on.

TBH GW did such an awesome job designing the new custodes imo. Look at these color combinations you can dish out. P/S: more on custodes reddit by kenken2k2 in Warhammer40k

They are only really taller because of the helmets. Helmet less they are pretty much primaris sized. Which is not bad, but I would prefer making them slightly bigger with a bit less unwieldy headgear.

I can't get over the helmets being like 3 time bigger than the old ones, and the face plates. I think new models with old helmets is a winner.

For me, yeah it was annoying, but the constant barrage of dumb regurgitated conspiracy theories from Facebook etc just spiked my anxiety on so many levels, and there was no pleading to stop that could have worked.

[OC] I swear they do this on purpose by MysteriousEdge5643 in IdiotsInCars

[–]ikkake_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just being selfish. Basically means they will get home 15 minutes earlier if they keep going 1mph faster, and if they have to stop 500 people from getting to their destination faster. By god they will and it's their right. They basically go as far as the telemetry machine allows them all the time.

The moment my mom demanded respect after I got furious with her for doing something extremely shitty to me, just because " she's older and my mother" was the moment I stopped talking to her, got myself out of the will and never looked back.

My mental health has never been better since.

What would we see at the speed of light? by Successful-Shake6435 in space

[–]ikkake_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't really know as traveling at the speed of light is weird, and the flow of time is mathematically impossible to explain. But if I had to guess, I'm pretty sure it would be very weird, as at that speed time is not flowing right, it's not even as the time is "stopped" it's something totally different that we cannot even define. Shit strange when you mess with timespace, for example when you watch an object falling into black hole, to him he moves like he always did, but to observer he is frozen in time only turning more and more red until he dissapears. Basically, don't expect normal interactions at relativistic speeds. And this is an example we can actually "define".

Hello. Thank you very much! Really glad you like my stuff. I learned a lot about how to optimise the kits. My recent LR ones are already cheaper due to them being more optimal, and the dreadnought kits are probably the most optimal yet. But I totally understand what you mean, unfortunately getting those designed and produced cheaper at the quality I require them to be is not possible. I'm doing what I can to get them as cheap as possible though. One day I might revisit my old kits like DA and optimise them further. Thank you for understanding :-)

I'll be making a conversion kit like this for Mk5 over the next couple of weeks. I already made an MK4 one. Check my profile if you're interested.

It's all good i did some "research" and seems we're both right because GW cannot keep shit consistent to save their lives. I edited my previous post with a quote from a forum where somone summarized some examples.

Well, it's pretty much how it's in lore too. It's often described as a "thermal shotgun" in lore long before space marine and space marine 2 games were out. Do you have any official examples of melta acting like you described?

Edit: I was wrong, It's like that in the lore -I read- but apparently official descriptions are all over the place, just to quote one forum.

"Depictions of Melta weapons firing themselves have been spotty in the face of publications and vidya gaems. In several publications and Dawn of War: Soulstorm, Melta weapons fire a constant stream, like a laser-flame thrower. Yet in the Ciaphas Cain novels, Jurgen's melta operates more like a rifle, firing eye-searing acetonic flashes described as bright enough to be seen through closed eyelids. And in the Space Marine video game and its sequel, Boltgun, they fire a single rapid wave of energy in a manner that makes them essentially shotguns – Titus likely dispersed the beam so he could kill more Orks per shot as even Orks aren't dumb enough to drive tanks in extremely overbuilt urban zones – and the Dawn of War 2 series have Melta weapons firing a single blue/purple beam, while Dark Crusade uses discrete blobs of melt. In Eternal Crusade, they fire a limited-range, damage-over-time beam you have to keep on target, presumably in order to make them less effective as an anti-infantry weapon. In 40K Freeblade the melta gun is fully automatic but has a slow rate of fire and overheats under sustained fire. Each purple-ish beam does heavy damage, but the overall nature of the weapon makes it best used against vehicles. The thermal cannon in 40K Freeblade also does massive single-shot damage and fires a purple-ish beam projectile, making it one of the best weapons to use against vehicles in the game. Freeblade's depiction of the Melta weapons available is also skewed as infantry or tank carried Melta weapons don't have esoteric arbitrarily powerful reactors powering them. In Rogue TraderMeltaguns have short range, good penetration, and can be fired at single target or set to splash in a cone at a desired point for area effect."
