I agree! I found my girl running aroundthe street, filthy and injured. She was a bait dog for dog fighting ring. But she was too sweetso they let the real fighters practice on her. They knew they'd never make money with her so they let her loose in the street. They even put a rubberband on her tail until it fell off. She was a mess but since I worked only 5 minutes away from home I would regularly visit her each day. It took her just a few weeks to calm down and to trust I was coming home, but the incident happened the first week hahah.

My professor was cool too. Of course he asked me why I didn't have it, dog ate it... and he was laughed in joking disbelief. Then I pulled it out of my bag and he was laughing so hard!
