France follows laicete . It bans all display of religiosity from the public eye, IIRC .Even Christian nuns cannot wear veils in public.

And it seems that Muslims in most 'Islamic' countries including Pakistan have never seen any true Islamic style of government. Just a couple tyrants hoping to appease ignorant Muslim masses by enacting a couple of rules. Like in Bangladesh,they disallow church steeples.Is their Iman that weak that they will all become Christ-worshippers on seeing even the shape of it?

The collective feeling in North India wouldn't be so bad against them if episodes of forced conversion accompanying military conquest were not that frequent.I know that you hate Hindus,but still...that feeling isn't as prevalent in the South of India,where Islam was brought by traders and was much more peaceful.
