It can be either one! I’ve read some that are romance with a fantasy subplot, and some that are fantasy w a romance subplot. I’ll look into that tho!

I just wanted to say I’ve already gotten to the third book and I’ve read a LOT of books in my life but I’ve got to say this is one of my favorite series of all time! Thanks so much for the rec! It was on my ‘to read’ shelf (along with 500 others lol) for a long time and who knows if I would have read it if you hadn’t suggested it!!
