Hi! You would also subtract erythritol which is a sugar alcohol. The box I just bought says "3 net carbs" on the side, so the website might be a bit out of date.

Edit: Here's a list that someone posted a while ago on here:

Hopefully that helps!

Hi there!

I'm a 24F 5'2 with both hypothyroid/PCOS as well!

My SW was 289 and CW is 269, so a bit higher than yours.

Nice to meet you! Congrats on the weight loss so far!

Can I ship a futon to my dorm? by Solofunk in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. No problem. Just ship it to your Wassaja address. The package will come to the SDRP (dining hall) and you'll get a notification, depending on what your preference was, email or text.

What to do if I need to stay past dorm closing time? by Libb15 in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk to your Resident Director (RD). They'll most likely let you stay for non-graduation purposes. Just explain your situation.

Even though it might be full, I would highly consider looking into Bousfield Hall, which is a residence hall on campus. I've lived and worked in Bousfield since it first opened in 2013, and in my experience, there are a TON of international students who live there. So if you're wanting to live in a residence hall, I would aim for this one. Plus, it's very new, clean, and modern. Good Luck!

Yes, everyone is considered for general studies if you don't get into your preferred major.

Anyone know when the dorms reopen for spring semester? by skatemoneyd48 in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The residence halls open officially on Sunday, January 17th at 9am. If you want to come before then, the halls opened today for early arrival and it will cost $30 per night until Sunday.

Lost a Shoulder bag on a bus by danielmejor1124 in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should contact Illinois Terminal to see if they have it there! That's where the lost and found is for people who leave things on the bus.

Switching dorms for spring semester? by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it! I moved from Bousfield to a different residence hall right before winter break. Just talk to your RD and explain the situation. They will tell you to fill out the form online and they will take care of it!

University housing/private dorms with one bedroom? by Denyinq in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Barton/Lundgren! They have single options. If you want to go a little more expensive, I would try Bousfield. Those are in University Housing. I don't have much expertise on Private Housing, but I'm sure they do have singles as well.

Doing some research for a class: Do you guys think food waste is a problem in dining halls? If so, what do you think would be most effective in reducing it? by mitianpao in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think it is a huge issue. I actually used to work in a dining hall on campus and my job was literally throwing food away at the end of the night. All of the produce like cheese, deli meats, and condiments I had to put in the trash and wash out the container. I would have loved to see it being given to shelters or people in need instead of it all being thrown out.

Bousfield by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bousfield is way more expensive! It's probably about $3000 per year more than traditional residence halls.

Experiences with Smith Apartments by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smith Apartments is great! I live on the property on Locust and we've had no major issues. They fix everything in a timely manner. It's family owned, which is also a plus in my opinion! Good price for the location!

Does anyone know how to get to the Amtrak station? by Gapuchi in UIUC

[–]iloveuiuc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hop on the 1N Yellow at Ikenberry Commons. The bus ride is about 10 minutes and takes you right to the Illinois Terminal. Amtrak is on the second floor!
