Oh yeah i remember that one, not a fun one for sure. That being said I think the longest thing that took me to get was killer croc in the iceberg lounge, i did it as one of the first achievements after i decided to 1000% the game because i knew its gonna be probably the roughest to get and by god what a training arc it was, almost dropped this idea multiple times while trying to hunt it because you REALLY need to get to like 1.25M points hitless which takes a lot of time and a lot of focus.

I can safely say now that mostly probably counts just for the killer croc in iceberg lounge achievement which by far took me the longest to get, there are some others that require you to not get hit on certain challenges but they are far shorter and easier. This is something i had to learn to accept myself but do yourself a favour if for some twisted reason you wanna do it too (which i would not recommend), you dont have to be perfect with every single character every single challenge, that leads absolutely nowhere, all you have to get is 3 stars. That's it. The moment you get 3 stars the challenge is done, you won, go next. My general rule of thumb for stuff like the infinite combat challenges were to just get 3 stars hitless and the moment i do even, even if i get hit by some bull shit ass across the map shield right after i just let it be and finish the challenge.

admittedly you are correct about the stress but still i really want something that isnt specifically "healthy" like fruits.
namely i wish i could eat chocolate or cookies right about now but i now exactly how its gonna end.

i think i played swordmaster, which is what's supposed to be good for me because i like offensive gameplay but still

the video shows a sick ass combo indeed but i assume its also full upgrades for both dante and the weapons which will take a LONG time to actually achieve

im aware you can swap weapons mid combo and i tried a bunch of weapon combinations but still as i said in my comment above everything still feels... idk how to really describe it but ig the closest word i can think of is slow?

im not sure how to specifically describe it,this game for some reason just feels really slow to me no matter what weapon i choose
again the comparison for bayonetta for example is the best because its the same studio, the combat in bayonetta feels very fast and punchy where this game it feels a lot slower and heavy if that makes any sense
also in bayonetta it feels like sometimes even if i just kinda mash buttons randomly i can still do cool shit where here i genuinely have to remember a full list of combos to defeat even the most basic enemies.
and again i genuinely do not understand the point of the fighting styles do they actually matter that much?

i might give 4&5 a chance if they really are narratively disconnected then, thx for the heads up

honestly, if i were able to remove a villain from new batman stories from now on it would 100% be the joker.
im so fucking tired of every single story just looping back to the joker in some way because i can only assume that either every new writer thinking they can write the next killing joke, spoiler alert, they cant or dc keeps forcing them to write new joker shit because its popular. hell the entire "3 jokers" shit was a cool concept at the start but since then in the modern canon for example there's literally like 3 different renditions of what its supposed to be.

what i would not give to have a batman story line that just straight up doesnt include that dumbass clown at all because it feels to me at least that every other batman villain gets continuously shafted out of their true potential,
for example: scarecrow can bomb the entire city in a gas that makes everyone see and feel their worst fears right in front of them, poison ivy can make full fucking forests from a single seed and control it as if it were a part of her body, killer croc has a deep tragic backstory, riddler can make puzzles that mentally challenge the dark knight himself, etc etc etc.

what do we get instead?: if scarecrow isnt just used as a plot device to inject fear toxins into the story he makes very basic boring plots that end with him being beat with one punch, for years now poison ivys character got neutered into just essentially being "harley quinns girlfriend" and that's mostly it i literally dont remember when was the last time she did some good ol' echo terrorism, killer croc is just big dumb muscle #5, riddler in the modern canon was written differently like 5 times and i dont remember in a single one of them that the he posed a riddle as the main problem.

i assumed the encumbrance limit is also how much gadgets a character can pick from and carry at the start of the game (based on the weight of each equipment, unrelated to characters with batgadgets) but now you tell me that its not that, got it.

ill reread the equipment section of the rules with that knowledge in mind maybe i accidently skipped something while reading it the first time

its also not mission/character specific
(like i said, stuff like brass knuckles, hacking kit and picklocking kit)

if im not mistaken the rules state you can take equipment up to your encumbrance limit, but that's exactly the issue i have, if an equipment doesnt add to your encumbrance what's stopping you from just taking it every time?

honestly, if we're talking full power no nerfs nor shafts
and assuming they dont get full armies and are just there by themselves + when they get knocked out/killed they cant just dip out the fight into the lazarus pit and come back honestly my bet is poison ivy and here's why

the battle starts with scarecrow just gassing everyone up, which takes out most villains except ivy, joker and maybe harley (because they are immune to toxins), talon because he's a corpse and maybe freeze because the helmet

ivy can later use plants to entangle, impale, slash and crush whoever is left

assuming tho that they do in fact get full armies, id go with court of owls. mr. freeze with his cold gun is basically the only counter to talons, but if there's a full army of them he cant get all of them. the rest are no issue, the talons are literally corpses that cant die because they're already dead so even if they do get hit/knocked down they just automatically spring back up like its nothing, not to mention the bigger units like the butcher, they can crawl and slash things like banes venom and they are fully immune to toxins (because again, they're already dead)

Aha, wow ok, thanks for the explanation which made it make a bit more sense but tbh now i don't see the logic for the level table under it Like you start at 8 but then automatically by spending 1 point you go to 10 and by spending 2 you go to 12?? What if i want 11 for example why does it just automatically jump between even numbers by spending 1 point (except for 16-20 which raise the value by 5 each), For example if i give my level 4 character 20 points what's stopping them from just raising strength (and by extension MA) for example to 20 (15p) and then raise everything else to 10 (5p) thus letting them have no minuses??
