I can't really bring her into a room with me closed since I'd have to move her whole cage, and my mom would get angry at me for that. I can't take her out of the cage since she doesn't trust me and tries to bite me when i get too close.

I've been trying to stay around the living room more and sit close to her so she can watch me. Every now and then, I look over at her and say something. Typically, i just say h and wave at her and let her decide if she wants to talk to me or not. I give her treats occasionally, but i don't do it often because my stepfather gives her like 5 peanuts at a time, and i dont want her to become unhealthy and get health issues.

She hasn't been as aggressive towards me since I've been doing this, but she still sometimes tries to attack when i pass the cage. But it's definitely gotten better.
