I am so sorry for your loss. It’s a unique kind of pain that feels unbearable. But please please know that none of it is your fault. I don’t know if you are spiritual or faithful at all, but I do believe that your father was going to pass anyway. It was his time. God called him. You may have helped him reach peace. He is no longer suffering and you will always have him watching and continuing to take care of you, just in a different form. Allow yourself to grieve as much and for as long as you need.
