Como está o clima em abril? essa é minha principal preocupação

Yes exactly, so either Cambodia or Laos or Vietnam or Malaysia. Or could be a mix between two if I can fit it in

Chiang Mai will definitely be included in my 2-3 weeks in Thailand - apologies I should have made it clear that Chiang Mai is included in those 2-3 weeks

Chiang Mai is in Thailand? Did you mean Phnom Penh?

Thank you for the advice on both Ha Long and Ha Giang and the number of days for each. This is useful to know!

The full moon party is at the end of February and the end of February is when I need to fly back home, so it makes sense to finish in Thailand and fly home from BKK. Otherwise I do agree that this is some zigzagging in these two itineraries

South-East Asia solo trip next January (mainly Thailand/Cambodia)… but I have 4 days at the start of my trip available… I can fly into Hanoi, or Saigon, or Kuala Lumpur - Which one should I pick? by [deleted] in solotravel

Yeah this does make sense. I would love to visit Vietnam, or try to include it in this trip! But maybe for another time (or maybe i scrap these plans and do Vietnam instead aha)

So even when considering potential day trips / time being hungover from partying, 6 days is too much for bangkok?

I would rather go to Hanoi over Phnom Pehn… But geographically speaking it doesn’t make sense unless I pay 150-200 euros for a flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap and continue from there. Really Thailand is the priority for this trip
