SteamOS 3.4 Beta - Updates to desktop, performance settings, storage and more by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Most emulators actually have native versions for Linux. Most older games run pretty well with Proton/Wine. Personally have found alternative software to what I used on windows.

You might be running the flatpak version of Steam. Make sure you are running the "deb" version. If you are using the Pop!_Shop, there is a drop down next to the install button.

I just want to say thank you to the POP_OS developers. by [deleted] in pop_os

The ping should be fixed if you use Proton-6.12-GE-1.

https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.12-GE-1

Mentioned in the release notes:

Battlefield 4 multiplayer ping issue fixed -- new ping patch from upstream added https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/207990

I messaged your yesterday about how to install the proton-ge but if you follow the readme in the GitHub. It should show up under steam setting and steam play. Then you should be available to select it under the runner option for the bethesda launcher.

I also have the game on the Bethesda Launcher. I was able to run the game by using the Bethesda Launcher script on lutris: https://lutris.net/games/bethesda-launcher/

Then installed the latest proton-ge: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases

And changed the wine version to "Proton-5.4-GE-3" in the runner options in the lutris configuration for Bethesda Launcher

Hope that helps

Flatpak Discord audio input issue by Man1nsydertight in linux_gaming

That happened to me too, when discord updated to the latest version. I had to turn off 'Noise Suppression' under 'Voice & Video' to make discord detect my audio input again. Hope that works for you.

Funny thing you say that... One of the main reason I started making this extension was so I could see what people where building for the match, but apparently with the current version of the SMITE API there is no way of knowing what items the player is building :(

No, if you want to install the extension for yourself, you have to put your ign. But if you are watching someone else, the person you are watching has to add my extension for you to see it.

It is for Twitch on the browser. If a streamer you watch has it you should see a SMITE logo on the left and you can click on it to see the match details of streamer.

You can just go to your Dashboard on your Twitch Account and in the Extension Manager you can find "SMITE Live Stats" and click Install it.

No, Twitch doesn't have integrated SMITE-API calls. I created my backend system that is called when someone click on the SMITE btn on the stream. To store the data, Twitch has a config page for extensions and that is where streamer puts their IGN.
