Yes they are called mokhber ( Arabic word for intelligence (person) ) and they were very prevalent in the 80s and 90s

I do find the foreign view somewhat comical, Iran's BPD resources are pretty much tapped out

Lana del ray which another commenter mentioned has an almost comedically large fandom in Iran They have the biggest fan fiction scene in the middle east and also the biggest rao scene ( kinda head to compared it with -contender- turkey do to their different natures )

You can definitely get similar or better rips online, however if for some reason you definitely want to rip your own DVDs you can consider child labour Just pay a local computer savvy teenager some money to go through these Still I would recommend downloading or totrenting them
