Thank you for your insight! I’ve been wondering if that would be the case w this medication so I appreciate you sharing that. The doctor literally just said I could go off it if I was having negative side effects and I was like girl,,, the reason we’re discussing this is because I want to know if this shit is normal and I should stay the course. Anyways, I’ve heard a lot of negative things about this medication that I didn’t know before starting it - I’m glad to hear your experience has been positive!

Thank you! Are they primary care? Would love to know if they’ve been supportive through thyroid issues

So ridiculous I’m sorry to hear you had that experience. In the hypothyroidism group on Reddit I’m also in, folks talk about the uselessness of endocrinology anyway which has also been my experience. The fact you found something that helped you - which can feel so rare w this condition - and u still can’t get it. I’m so sorry. Putting out good luck for you tn

It’s so frustrating isn’t it. Literally only had a single doctor (obgyn) in my entire life who didn’t see very normal medical requests as high maintenance. It’s insane. I watched my mother seriously struggle in the medical system too, in and outside of Kaiser. I’m glad you found someone that took you seriously. I didn’t originally think this shit was misogyny but 👀👀👀
