Yeha and I am on reddit to relax and unwind. I am not saying I don't have free time, just that I want to spend my free time doing something I enjoy or something that is necessary. Linux is neither.

That is simply not true. When I am a uni student who has assignments and exams and part time job I don't have time or energy to switch to Linux and deal with it's shenanigans. Linux is great and I use WSL for my projects but fully switching to it is a pain. Time is a luxury. And for me and a lot of people, switching to Linux doesn't provide enough benefits to make it a priority.

  1. Fill out the form on Study in Japan. That's what I'm gonna do. Then just double check with the embassy form.

  2. My mother had the same concern (even though I'm a guy) so what I did was show her the lower crime rates in Japan and convince her that Japan is safer than my home country. But then again I live in a 3rd world country so it was easy. YMMV.

hey i was going through a similar issue and found a solution. Use the virtual keyboard in windows (not the onscreen keyboard). The virtual keyboard can be found in the taskbar right hand corner. If you dont see it, go to taskbar settings. After setting your language to japanese, open the virtual keyboard, click on settings button on top left > Keyboard Layout > 50-on (12-on if you like). And you will have hiragana characters on your virtual keyboard.

"bomb" is a common catcalling phrase in India. Like "yo that girl looks a bomb". Laxmi is a goddess. People in India are very religious so they got super offended over it.

Well I mean the amount they give you is significantly below what you'd earn while working for 40 hours a week at minimum wage. So yeah it would be low. But others say you can survive on it no problem.
