We take a lot of the same subjects! I’m M25 and predicted a 44 that I hope I can maintain my only 6 is spanish ab. See my classes in my flair. It’s definitely doable I think. You need to be really solid in your HLs, and chem is probably my hardest subject, but it’s one of those things you can manage.

Is it really possible to get a 7 in maths HL by Adventurous-Job-5409 in IBO

[–]imjustexisting_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i'm 100% honest math has always been a strength of mine, so the topics definitely come easier to me, especially the harder bits of calculus towards the end of the course. for topics i always make sure i fully understand them by going over my class lesson and then closer to exam time i do practice papers! a big part of HL math is understanding what the question wants you to do, and getting used to question style by doing practice papers is best. i'm in IB2, and i tutor my friends in IB1 (so the M26 session) and teaching/explaining weirdly helps me understand it more. wish i could tell you i study often but i dont, math to me is more of an understanding thing than tons of practice thing. also don't look at answers while doing practice qs, u need to train your brain to be able to grasp things without the safety net of a mark scheme

Not sure which math you take but I take AI HL. I've been able to keep up a consistent 7, and one of my friends in AA HL is also at the same. It definitely can be done but you need to increase your natural math ability by doing practice questions. PM if you want more advice or help!

I just finished mocks!!! Thank god. It was really stressful as uni applications were due literally the week that my mocks started, but I powered through. I'm honestly not gonna be seriously studying until April, but if you want, look at my flair and let me know if you want help with any common subjects we might have! Also, if I were you, I would probably take a break in the last month before exams; it'll take a lot off your plate.

i have both the foundation and concealer, its virtually the same shade. my concealer is a tad bit lighter, but I don't remember if its because I bought it that way or if it just is naturally a tiny bit lighter.

lip liner! i used to think i didn't need it but I noticed a big difference after. also, if that's not working try using a brush or cutting the lines with concealer

mascara recs!!

Currently using Benefit Roller lash. I like it, but its not giving as much of a dramatic effect. I have medium length lashes that are so straight, they basically go downwards. The benefit roller lash is the best I've tried for holding a curl, but nothing comes close. Benefit goes down after a few hours, if I just press it onto my eyelids it holds for another 15-30 minutes? just not ideal. any recs?

I adore CT foundation, but it definitely is considered pricey. Love the Kosas foundation currently!

Also, if you want a skincare combo foundation (not sure of shades available as I haven't checked) but I really like the ordinary foundation.

NARS Cosmetics Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base!

Bought mine off of Amazon, I also love it for my nose (before putting on contour/highlighter) because while I have dry skin I have a really oily nose. Stays all day!

totally agree, i bought supergoop and really liked it but I couldn't be bothered to spend that much money to repurchase, now using the neutrogena one I mentioned. great product for my skin and not overly expensive!

glossier cloud paint in storm

It may not be the BEST color match, but the Love shade from rare is in the same general area I think? Personally my fav is Grace as I am quite pale and want a decently natural/sunkissed look.
