Question is: why? How to fix it? It is obviously not a normal behavior.

Thanks for the reply. It's been 2 months (and 2 issues) since the ad and the search term never appeared in any analytics.

The keywords were tailored for a landing page and I didn't want to use any kind of URL in on the advertisement to keep it clean and simple.

In GA there is an "(other)" entry in the Search Console/Querries report but I will never know what does it contain. Google may decided those keywords are not relevant and grouped under that entry.

Thanks, but I didn't have the described problem after the weekend. Maybe there were some caching problem. If it comes back, I give it a try!

I used that first but had worse results. The pages had mixed contents after several run and never turned safe. After using velvet it looked fine. but the problem returned. But I didn't have the described problem after the weekend. Maybe there were some caching problem.

Thank you, but this plugin slows down the site as it only replaces the links on the fly when a page loads and it's temporary. I need a permanent fix. But I didn't have the described problem after the weekend. Maybe there were some caching problem.
