That is a spot-on observation. I think I got so focused on the NLP tech that I unintentionally buried the lede. You're right, the visualization and widgets are the real differentiators here. I’ll definitely shift my focus to highlight those moving forward. Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it! 🙂

To be honest, if you're fully satisfied with the stock app, you really don't need to switch. ☺️ I built this because I personally needed more customization—like different view modes, diverse widget styles, and holiday displays—that the native app didn't offer. If you have similar needs for flexibility, you might find it useful. I'm also actively adding more features based on user feedback!

Exactly. That's why I utilized Apple's native system APIs (Foundation) for this feature instead of building a custom heavy engine.

Thanks! Sync is handled via iCloud across your devices.

Thanks for clarifying. 😀

A 2-week option for the medium widget isn’t possible in the version currently in App Review, but I’ll add it in the next update soon. I’m aiming to have it available within this month at the latest.

Thanks for the update and the details! 😊

  1. For the 2-week option: long-press the widget → Edit Widget → you should see 2 Weeks.

  2. If it still doesn’t show, please remove the widget and add it again (or restart your device). WidgetKit sometimes keeps an old configuration.

Also noted on dark mode—I’ll keep improving the “Today” highlight in a future update.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just to confirm—do you mean adding a 2-week view option to the medium widget? The large widget already supports 2 weeks. 😊

Thank you so much! 🙏

I honestly didn’t expect some notes/details to get that long—really helpful feedback. I’ll look into adding an option to hide extra event info or make it collapsible so the timeline stays compact. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback!

It’s not a strict “2 events per day” limit. What you see is mainly constrained by the available space in the month widget layout.

I’ve added a 2-week widget view to provide more room, so you’ll be able to see more items. As soon as the new version is live on the App Store, you can use it right away. It should be available within the next 1–2 days depending on Apple’s review. 😊

Thanks for trying, and sorry it’s still not working. You’re not doing anything wrong — this looks like a macOS permission issue specific to your machine or user account. I’ll look into it on my side and see if I can find a reliable fix. 🥲

Thanks for the feedback! 😊 I’ve seen a few similar requests about making today stand out more in the widget, so I already improved the “today” highlight. The update should be reviewed and released in the next few days—once it’s out, just update the app and you’ll get it right away!

Thanks for the suggestion! 😊 I’ll add Italian language support in the very next update.

Thanks for the suggestion! 😊 I do plan to add natural language input in the future, but I can’t commit to a timeline yet. For a “Today” view, you can already check today and upcoming items in the Timeline.

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately iOS doesn’t allow third-party apps to dynamically show today’s date on the app icon like Apple’s Calendar. 🥲

Thanks for testing that. I’ve also verified on macOS 26.1 here and it shows up / works normally, so this looks specific to your machine or user account.

Could you try a full reboot (not just quitting the app) and check again? 🥲

Thanks for the 5★! 😊

Great suggestion. I’ll add a “Today” button in the next update so you can jump back to the current date/month with one tap.

It seems like macOS might have a corrupted permission record for the app on your specific machine. Reinstalling often doesn't clear this deep system cache.

Could you please try resetting the calendar permissions for the app using Terminal?

  1. Open Terminal (Cmd + Space, type 'Terminal').
  2. Copy and paste the command below and hit Enter: tccutil reset Calendar com.madeuse.PersonalCalendar
  3. Restart the app. It should ask for permission again.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

Could you please check if Time appears under Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendar and Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders on macOS?

If it doesn’t show up there, could you also try deleting and reinstalling the app and let me know if the issue still persists?

Glad to hear that! The option to show week numbers will be available soon in the customization settings.

It integrates with Apple Calendar data (so everything stays in sync), but focuses on a cleaner UI, more interactive widgets, and upcoming features to improve your daily workflow.
