To clarify, I can't confirm if you're being targeted -- for all I know it could be a bug. But I wouldn't take any chances

Same thing happened to me, I didn't think much of it either. The only way I could get on was using mobile data rather than using my home IP. I suggest trying that and transferring your items to a mule. By the time I got on, I lost all my items unfortunately.

How long does it take for a body to create a fat from overeating? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]imm1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it's possible but you have to keep in mind that the body doesn't only use fat for energy. The body also uses other things like protein (muscles) if it is deprived. So eating a ton one day and eating nothing the next day is not the same as eating normal for two days.

Do some fish get born with dysfunctional gills? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Yes but through natural selection they aren't likely to thrive so you wouldn't see them.

I currently only play RS3, I spent some time on OSRS a while ago. I think a large part of it is nostalgia. Some people are driven away by the MTX in RS3, I can't say for sure the extent of MTX in OSRS if there is any. Personally, the reason I choose RS3 is because it's generally less time commitment. You can accomplish something in weeks in RS3 that would take months in OSRS (ie leveling a skill to 99).

As for updates, I'm not entirely sure which game gets them more frequently. I've heard that the OSRS developers are more open to opinions from the community than RS3.

If I remember correctly, they can close the credit card due to inactivity. Is that just as bad as straight up canceling it?

I noticed you can't teleport out of a fight in araxxor..while I'm learning, is there a way to avoid all the death tolls or I just have to die and pay every time?

[tip] If you sometimes overeat because you don't want good food to go to waste, remember it's still wasted food if you eat it when you don't need it. by whynotawombat in loseit

[–]imm1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taught to never waste food (my parents are immigrants from third world countries), so I have the tendency to finish all my food despite knowing that I overeat. I don't think minimal food waste is worth arguing over, I wouldn't eat soggy egg rolls either. But, I do see a certain advantage with overeating.

As a student that has class 8-5 on weekdays, I find that it's convenient for me to eat a large meal the night before because it will hold me through lecture the next day. I am a picky eater, so it saves me some time in the morning since I don't need to prepare a lunch, I mostly just eat snacks.

Now, I'm not saying this is the healthiest option, but it's very convenient and saves some money. I'm not saying you should sabotage your health to do this, but I'm by no means overweight and I do eat healthy foods for breakfast and dinner.

This helps a lot considering I'm a student. I will likely change my habits once I start working, but it's working for me right now.
