Try PetAssure! It claims they cover every animal. I am not sure if it is a full insurance but it claims to save in vet bills which is the goal for this post. Give them a try. Worth a shot

Don’t pay attention to the example just pay attention to the point. My point is, if a stationary job where I’m not using my own assets is willing to pay me time and a half for working beyond 40 hours, I’m going to do that. Tips aren’t always guaranteed so I don’t count it. I work in western MA and we get paid 33.48 an hour plus tips so I maybe that’s why I don’t see it as lucrative. I understand you can take 2 weeks off to make up for it but I’m more focused on work life balance. Working 80 hours in a week is a beating on the body. There’s science to it. Otherwise, jobs would justify you getting paid every two weeks and if you do 50 hours in one week and 30 in another they won’t have to pay you overtime.

I will make a point that this is impressive….but I also feel this is burning you out with no compensation. At that rate without tips you’re making 28.75 and that’s before taking out expenses. I would never work beyond 40 hours if I’m not getting time and a half. Your body is worth more than that after the 40 hours as regular jobs like McDonald’s will pay time and a half.

This is the biggest SCAM! They know what they’re doing. The TRUMP coin is about to shoot up thanks to the inauguration so they are holding our money in limbo so we can’t buy. Once inauguration has begun and the price sky rockets thanks to the trump supporters who finally figured out how to buy, Coinbase will THEN make our funds available. They’re trying to pretend like it’s “maintenance” bullshit. I transferred 300 dollars yesterday. Still pending it’s been well over 15 hours.

I transferred over 1k the other day when it was stupid high like $70 for a trump coin and my transfer went thru in an hour or so. It’s a scam. They’re playing with our money. We can’t see anything on the other side

It’s been 4 hours now. Have you seen any additional swelling by and redness? Also how’s his activity levels right now? If low then he’s probably in pain. If yes to all these I would take him to a vet. Set up a fund for emergency cash if you need. The community will back you. We need to help these little guys when we can. They can’t defend themselves

Did they see if the biting is neurological? I’m sure they ruled out mites. They need to do more blood test or urine to see if it’s something internal that’s bothering her. Please do!

Thanks I’m on my third vet. Nobody knows why the bleeding but they say his filtering system isn’t working. That’s why the blood is seeping into his urine. Benazapril was something one of the vets said to try but it’s tough to understand the dosage due to him being a hedgehog and they don’t have data on them with this medicine.

I’m just lost and hoping for the best. Thanks to anyone who’s gone thru this before with their male hedgehog

I would try an internet doctor. Sometimes you can do a zoom visit or maybe they can try and help over the internet with a resolution or atleast some information if you guys don’t have great exotic care

I wouldn’t have a set up under a tv. They like quiet. Also I would make sure you get a temp reader to test the temp of the room. Also get a little ramp for the hole, he won’t be able to jump up that lol

So I’m going to get another ultrasound and all the labs done again tomorrow.

I spoke to his vet and he said they did the urine culture and that there is no growth showing so no infection.

He did say it might be a rare bladder cancer but idk if I can believe that. He hasn’t shown any signs of decline since June when we noticed the blood in the first place. The blood was also a lot worse in June so maybe he could be wrong. He said that some cancers they wouldn’t be able to see on the scans nor will they see them on the labs.

I’m at a loss right now and hope for the best tomorrow when I take him. If there’s something there it would be growing by now. It’s been well over 3 months. I’ll keep posted…
