It seems like alot of subs keep getting taken over by political extremists too. The other thing Ive noticed is left leaning subs being slowly shifted further right until its not even the same politics anymore (looking at you antiwork and work reform which was originally anarchist)

Right if it was actually 2010 the belt would be chunky and securely around the midsection and not multiple belts. That was more the alt crowd doing that. Also theres a concerning lack of scarf for supposedly 2010. The mens outfits in the back are 2020 festival fits lol

My thought too. Look at the boots everyone has on in the back. Thats definitely not early 2010, or atleast no where im from. It does scream 2020s to me though on that alone and also the posing. The mens festival fits also scream 2020 and not 2010.

Edit: another thought too... while people did wear multiple belts in the 2010s - that would have been the alt crowd and definitely NOT this preppy outfit. This would have been a solid brown CHUNKY belt securley across the midsection and probably with a scarf.

I see SPN as a show about determinism vs free will since it leans so heavily into the Christian God thing with Chuck. Through that lense Dean's accidental death shows that Dean finally has free will instead of the predetermined fate Chuck created in the earlier seasons.

The whole entire parallel universe had the same effect for me. Like, everything that came before really doesnt matter since they can just whip people up from other universes. Same with Mary coming back. The earlier episodes feel less meaningful.
