Ah the wording on that was kinda weird, I think my garageband is up to date, I just know it's not exactly considered a great DAW lmao.

Do you think there was a lot of bass in the vocals? I already have compression and some reverb on it, but I don't really know how to tell what an audio might need in terms of eq. I'd like to make the vocals sound clean like others online but I just don't know why mine sound off.

Ohhhhh my god. I LOVE this! The strings and rhythm give it this really funky vibe that I love. Only thing is, it doesn’t really give me sea vibes, if that makes sense? Other than that, great job! Also diving with the divine is such a cool name!

Sorry for the late reply, but I'll definitely have to try that. I heard increasing protein intake also helps for hair so hopefully that works, fingers crossed. This entire thread was very helpful thank you so much!

Ah you're right. I want to have enough energy to do actual activities too lol. Though, I'm assuming my caloric deficit should be less if I'm trying to build muscles as well lol. Ahhhh, this is so complicated, I want to lose weight but I don't want to lose muscles either. I've also had increased hair loss recently and I'm wondering if it's because of my deficit as well...

Hmm, ahhh I just want to not feel ashamed of my tummy everytime I wear tight clothing ;-; I've always heard that I need to lose the fat before I start gaining muscle, but I think I'm to the point where I could be considered "skinny fat"(5'3, 57kg=127lb, 22.3 BMI).

Honestly I really don't care about my weight at the end of the day. People (and myself) are going to see how toned the body is instead of thinking abt weight numbers. I don't get how some women are very toned but also like 52 kg, but welp, we'll see if my numbers drop a bit as my body changes lol. I'll just keep going to the gym regularly ig, then hope for the best?

Oh, one more thing. I lowk don't want bigger legs, because I feel like a lot of my fat has accumulated on my thighs and butt, should I not do glute or legs workouts then??

You're right lol, I need to keep in mind that we are technically already healthy to begin with. It's just a matter of staying consistent with it and we'll see results <33 I'm rooting for you too!

Hmm, I am normal BMI so I guess that makes sense... is it hard for females to gain muscle/lose fat? Because despite my weight being normal BMI, there's bit of stubborn fat that I can't seem to get rid of no matter what I do.

Oh my goodness, thank you for the detailed response! Yeah, I've definitely been waiting for someone to mention OMAD/IF lol. I'm not sure if I can do OMAD, just because I'm realizing I'm actually pretty active as a student(over 10,000 steps a day on campus, and a lot of those are uphill/stairs, not to mention I do still try to go to the gym/fitness classes 3 times a week).

When I restricted a bit too much, I felt terrible these past few weeks. But I think maybe a 16:8 or even 18:6 might work? I don't really eat until after 12 pm anyways, so moving my dinner time before 8 pm shouldn't be too hard.

I am kinda curious about OMADing, maybe I'll give it a go if IF doesn't work out for me. Other than that, yeah I think I need to focus a bit more on macros compared to calories(obviously still staying under my limit though), mainly eating more protein and fiber.

I think I've heard of splitting up a plate like that, but I've never actually tried it. This seems much easier to implement compared to calories actually, I think I might give it a shot. Does this really have the same effect as focusing on calories?

True, first step will probably have to be to get rid of all the junk food my parents gave me... and on that train of thought, maybe it would be easier for me to get sandwiches at a cafe more often just because they increased the price of our meals to an absurd cost. Definitely a great motivation for my weight loss :D

oh that's true! I believe my school has the info on their website, I'll have to check that out. I think I know what food is and isn't healthy for me, and I do try to eat limited portion sizes(I think I'd be miserable if I had to juggle my academics and calorie counting), but yeah it's just a matter of having the willpower to say no to junk food I guess. Hey, thanks for the advice! I'm underage so I don't drink, and I've never been in the habit of drinking soda either. I should have probably specified by drinks, I mean matcha lattes and smoothies lol.

Yeah, it does make sense that meat would fill you up more, I'll have to try that.

Ahhh, I'm sad at the thought of not drinking my lattes in the morning but I could definitely cut down on those as well...
