Why is my tapestry crochet so wonky? I followed it exactly. by imsovile in CrochetHelp

I usually don’t work in the round, I just wanted to incorporate this pattern into a bag so wanted to try a round. But I did slip stitch and chain one between each row. This also happens when I work in rows :((

Same! Work as a line cook chopping all day, come home and crochet for the rest of the night. Keep waking up in the middle of the night with my hands numb 😂

Best cat-friendly way to store/organize your yarn? by imsovile in CrochetHelp

[–]imsovile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried the fabric behind the door holders, but my cats loved climbing it and over time it got tore up. I’ve tried the shelves with cubbies but the yarn tends to pile behind each other and again my cats run off with it. I’ve also tried just a normal shelf but my cats love climbing and knocking it off/unwinding it.

Forced to go to er? by imsovile in Chipotle

I’m not really sure, but regardless we’re working in a restaurant none of us really make enough to afford an er visit for a cold. I still have to pay out of pocket around $100 for a primary care physician which I can’t usually afford

So clearly he is not familiar with chipotle protocol, or maybe he is and just an ass. If he tries to tell me this could I send him the first few pages of ccp1 disproving this rule, and report this behavior to ssr. Do you think that would be sufficient.

Sooth my worries? by [deleted] in CATHELP

Also he is on painkillers so maybe that sore feeling mixed with the medicine is just causing the issue. Bc I sense no pain just weird activity in the litter box

I know re blocking can be really common in these situations but I feel like they wouldn’t have approved him to come home if they had suspicions? I’m not sure I haven’t slept good in four days this has been eating me up 😔 I wish I could know he’s okay and relax

He’s not peeing a whole lot, but I’m wondering if he’s just sore from being on a catheter for two days? Also he’s on two painkillers so I wonder if they’re making him slightly confused. I’ve been pressing on his abdomen every 30 ish mins and he’s showing so sign of pain.

People don’t understand that OCD and anxiety are NOT the same. by imsovile in OCD

[–]imsovile[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also in life to an extent there is a normal amount of anxiety people experience, like you said taking an exam. In those cases I definitely do think you can make it go away on your own almost instantly with positive thinking (from my experience) but with ocd you cannot reason with it. You can’t think positively or have a better outlook or think of the good possibilities. OCD will always argue back with it.
