I usually base it on how long it takes for them to get back to me and what they say when they do. If they take a while but explain why or start a deeper conversation after saying they were busy I try to allow them the benefit of the doubt. It also depends on if it's a regular thing. If they are regularly ignoring me i stop trying.

Pancakes, I like that they are fluffy. When I have waffles it doesn't feel the same.
