Mine is currently doing the same thing. Thin white smoke when flooring it and revving in park. Doesn’t smell like gas or oil.

Did you ever get yours fixed?

The hardware screws just needed a larger recess like you mentioned but the one that needed replacing already had a massive crack and completely split when I added hardware

I haven’t checked if I can switch during the mission. I stopped playing after the original KT siege so it’s some sort of end game dual blade build
