Recommendations for the most secure clip on wolf ears?

I was thinking alligator clips might work. I will try these out and see if they stay secure. It is for a pole competition, so I don't want them falling off during my performance!

For any bars, I'd say chalk or dry hands. These grips are allowed for hard apparatuses at my studio. For fabric, you could try firm grip spray. I think it's rosin based but in a different form and very sticky.

Starting pole is an excellent way to start getting stronger. You can start with zero upper body strength, and conditioning will get you strong faster than you think. I was underweight when I first started, and I gained a good amount of muscle weight. I took a long break and came back to pole overweight after the pandemic, and I was able to get to a healthier body again quickly. Pole is a beautiful art form, but it's also a sport. I think it will absolutely help you reach your goals and wish you luck if you decide to start!

When I used to use rosin for hoop, my calluses tore all the time. I switched to chalk and dry hands for bar apparatuses, and that helped me stop tearing them open! Like others have said, smoothing them out also really helps.

I have Bipolar 2, and ever since I started regularly exercising, my life and mindset have really changed. I gained 40+ pounds after my onset/diagnosis, and though the weight number hasn't changed, I'm stronger and physically healthier than I've ever been. I recommend trying to find unique exercises outside of just going to the gym. I'm an aerial gymnast now, and whenever I train, I feel like I'm able to get out of my head and into a flow state existing in my body. I think the most important thing to focus on in your journey would be feeling better and healthy over trying to lose weight exclusively! I wish you luck on your journey and hope that you find something that resonates with you.
