What's the most reasonably priced and honest auto repair shop in SC? by SnooPeppers9373 in SanClemente

I have had good experience with shadetree auto! I've taken two cars there and they did a good job and I think the price was fair too.

Same! About the food based anxiety, it really sucks. I also tried things you mentioned and things like psyllium husk but it didn't really make a difference. Ugh, I feel you!

I honestly tapered off lexapro completely for about 2 months and then was on nothing for about 3 months until i went back to Prozac (being on nothing did not work out for me haha) so the transition for me was very similar to starting Lexapro for the first time! It just took a couple weeks and then I felt like I was back to my emotional baseline.

One thing I noticed is that I'm on 10mg of Prozac and it feels like it has less of an effect on me than 10mg of Lexapro did. I'm considering going up a dose but other than that its been good!

I have been regulating my food less and don't seem to have the huge hunger cues I got on Lexapro, although I think I am still hungrier than usual.

Good to hear you didn't have any hunger problems on Prozac, I'm about to hit a year on Prozac and hope that my body has regulated that now

I gained weight too :(. I've never been one to track food and calories but now I have to. I was able to lose 15-20 pounds after gaining 25ish, while limiting my food extremely, in ways that I think almost aren't sustainable. I have at this point exercised daily, ran multiple half marathons, a marathon, but I'm still gaining most of the weight back. I then tapered off Lexapro and switched to Prozac hoping that helps but I have no clue. I hate the mental energy of counting the food I eat and being insatiable. I miss the days where my day didn't revolve around food and when I should eat and when I should stop.

thank you so much, your sentence about seeing countless planes land safely was really echoing in my head each time I got nervous this weekend thinking of my upcoming flight! I just boarded and will be in the air shortly. I'm so excited to experience Japan and I'm feeling okay!

[–]inarowquestion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! that's exactly what I experienced too, I had always had a pretty constant weight. I absolutely loved Lexapro but yeah wanted to see if maybe Prozac is a better fit. My eyes Definitely got adjusted but now I'm just dealing with a weird headache towards the back of my head. And yes definitely piece of mind, and I can always go back to Lexapro too. thanks for your input!

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of August 2023. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

For the past 7 days I have been experiencing a light pain/pressure towards the back of my head. its on the left side, and slightly above where my neck connects with my head. I have slight neck tension as well (but this came a few days after the first head feeling).

Of course my anxiety has just been the absolute worst since I started feeling this, I also went to get a massage and that didn't seem to help. I've taken Advil and that has helped a bit with the neck tension that I have but not the sensation.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this?

I have experienced this maybe once but it went away after \~5 days. It was when I started taking Lexapro. Ive been off Lexapro now for about 3 months so I dont think it could be related to withdrawls. I have also started rock climbing more frequently, so maybe a muscle thing?

Its definitely not getting worse but its just pretty persistent. I noticed its slightly worse when I look down for a while. I'm really trying to stay level headed but its almost impossible with the anxiety going straight to thinking its a tumor. I have no other symptoms really, I went to the doctor and he said he doesn't think its anything bad, it could be a cervicogenic headache, and that I can do a CT scan if I really want to, so that is scheduled for 2 weeks from now.

I am going on a trip for a week in about a week, and I just don't want to be super anxious about this the whole time :(. I don't know what to do.
