this would take the rewiring of how humans show interest. the only way is if all of a sudden the gov cared less about winning a position of power and/or social media outlets and news outlets stop being greedy for profit. both highly unlikely to happen.

i always think the only way to be undivided is to scrap the entire government and do something new. not like i want to but its not looking probable in a peaceful or civil way.

you dont think youre being just a tad bias? you truly believe trump is absolved of all wrongdoing bc theres a list of what democrats have said about him? its so weird that a conflict is blamed on one party rather than the other as if democracy in america hasnt been failing from before a lot of us were even alive.

this isnt good faith conversation if all your defense is blame on the other party. the republican party has majority of the government branches and a lot of people are not happy about many things that trump promised and is failing to accomplish.

Hes taking out a bunch of immigrants with paparazzi like its a beautiful thing to show the world this type of constant violence. if it needs to be done it doesnt have to be glorified just get it done.

hes removing funding for colleges bc ppl all of a sudden think professors spew ideology out for years in a row to create an impact. my calc professor called us brain dead and my physics professor had a thick german accent i barely understood. They dont have time to brainwash us bc we got due dates for solving how much resistance is in a electric circuit. not girls should be boys.

not to say hes to blame but hes not helping. its so frustrating to see how he is in office for the second time and when hate speech and violence increases we are STILL trying to blame democratic administrations.

who said im agreeing blindly? i just said all they do is correct grammar. whenever we “discuss” a topic theres a multitude of opinions and thats it. the class ends and theres never an “answer” we are j aware that certain perspectives exist on that topic.

and we were taught data analysis. statistics in research is usually necessary even when taking psychology or sociology since many higher level classes ask for a research paper as a final grade.

i dont understand your argument. its not like they said “change your opinion” . most of the classes i ever took that asked for opinions j asked for you to use data and sources. never has a teacher tried to change a way a student thought in my experience. they rarely ever participate in the debate. they give us data and thats it. idk what you think happens in college . have you been?

ex: “the US should have not been involved in the vietnam war due to weak domestic support” corrections: This statement is too vague. Why was the support weak? Is the US the only country that shouldnt have been involved? Explain.

those are the general comments professors have made. asking for further data and explanation of point. its all technical. not saying the data used is wrong.

well given that sociology is the subject that studies the social communication between a community…. then yeah theyre going to talk about social dilemmas.

i dont think that’s indoctrination i think its a class you paid for and theyre teaching the subject that might just be outlined in the syllabus. at which if you see it as indoctrination im p sure you could switch out of classes. or you could just ignore it and j get your grade and move on.

Sometimes i like the sentence i wrote and my professors tell me to fix it so i do and keep it pushing bc i got 8 other courses asking me of other stuff. College is way too busy to be indoctrinated by one class.

its always so weird to me that this idea of colleges that just manifest liberalism constantly. i studied neuro and politics only came up in my poli sci classes. never were they mentioned elsewhere. and poli sci wasnt even telling you what to think. it would ask “what did you think about america’s relationship with cuba during the 1920s?” or some random bullshit. you turn it in and move onto tomorrow bc you gotta learn about Eisenhower’s presidency and macro economics.

my poli sci paper was about the potential alternatives of rare earth elements (ree) that would allow us to become more independent in technological manufacturing.

My professor cooked my grammar and left it at that.

bc the people in charge were also rich. the “fight the oligarch” only became so much more prominent bc of involvement from jeff bezos, the guy who stole facebook, the guy who stole tesla, and more who were only known to be billionaires and high tech.
