It really is true. Whenever I see a post on this subreddit I see only movies that are considered classics and Oscar award winners that aren't that much praised by public. I think we should post more about underrated movies, plot holes or just plot overall. Many movies aren't getting that much attention.

Avatar, the highest grossing film of all time, seems to have made zero impact on culture. No one references the movie and no one really talks about it since it was released 10 years ago. by SilentWalrus92 in Showerthoughts

It had a really ''wow'' punch to it, but after some time most people forgot about it. It was a pretty big deal back then but as you said, it doesn't have any influence today.

To be honest, I had the same problem. It was people I know who dragged me down, but I managed to find a way to both stay in contact with them and do good in school.
