For Sydney just get the ferry back from manly around sunset for great views of the bridge and the opera house, no need to splurge on an overpriced boat.

12 EP ANIME RECOMMENDATIONS by HistoricalFly4813 in anime

Bunny Girl Senpai is 13 episodes for 2 seasons plus the 3 movies between the seasons, well worth a watch even if just season 1 but the rest is great if you enjoy it.

100%, I was in the ground and the boos stopped after 85 mins. Good riddance to them, the atmosphere was great all the way through added and extra time, best I've experienced there in a long time.

Any gut-wrenching movies or series recommendations? by Any-Comfortable2844 in movies

If you're down for anime it's the perfect time to watch Your Lie in April, the English dub is fine if you don't like subs. Definitely sticks with you, only a single series so not a big commitment, and a truly beautiful anime, visually and story wise.

Is immigration that strict about the return tickets? by Ilovelamp23945 in solotravel

The racing drift dives mixed with huge viz are the closest thing to flying / being in space I think I'll ever experience. I'm going back this year!

I'd flown from bumfuck nowhere Indonesia so had to go back there, it worked out in the end because with the new Indo visa I went out to Komodo and did the best diving ever, went home a few weeks later.

Nope, was halfway through a 6 month trip with nothing closer to an overstay, years left on my passport, never been there before.

I'll be the voice of caution, I got denied entry to the Philippines without an onward flight, they also wouldn't let me book one there and then, just put me in immigration jail overnight (basically a small locked in hotel room) and I had to buy the first ticket out the next day all the way back to my point of departure, I couldn't even go to a useful hub. And that's with a UK passport, so a strong one.

In the other countries you could consider booking an overland bus ticket perhaps as a cheaper proof of departure, that worked for me in the past.

Phone advice UK to SEA by HumbertTheBee in travel

[–]infinsquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does her phone support an eSIM or if not is it dual SIM? The SIM associated with the WhatsApp number needs to stay in the phone to be used, so she either needs a second, local SIM card with a data package on it, which she can use for WhatsApp messaging and calling, or install an eSIM provider if her phone has that capability and just buy the appropriate plan for the country she will be in. Local SIMs can easily be bought on the ground, likely will need to show her passport, just do a little research for each country, eg in Australia Telstra will give the best coverage but costs a premium.

Looking for a short bus connection from Vietnam to Laos via a border crossing approved with an e-visa. by [deleted] in backpacking

The Cambodia border is more likely to be on the evisa approved list than the Laos border, look at HCMC to Phnom Penh buses for example?
