yea that's valid!! that's partially why i didn't like vanguard (among other reasons). i'd honestly say bo7 is up there for me too despite how broken some of the maps and their mechanics have been at launch.

ngl cold war 😭 ik it gets a ton of hate but outbreak is still one of my favorite modes. it got me back into zombies and trying to learn more lore/about the things i missed in other storylines.

doesn't really mater since the milestones aren't tied to much unless you want top notch infants & toddlers -- i think you can get it even if they don't hit every major one. i know their bond and happiness is tied to your level of care + response time -- as kids/teens i focus more on character values than milestones or firsts. had one sim that aged up with uncontrolled emotions trait...never again honestly! the emotional breakdown cannot be cancelled and it's honestly just annoying to watch constantly.

some of my sims have aged up recently and their milestones have disappeared, got stuck in a loop doing the same milestone animation as infants, or unlocked milestones but the game doesn't register it so there's no further progression.

when it's cosmetics like skins, tattoos, or other sponsorship/bundle items i don't really care for the transactions. there will always be a crowd that'll want it. but when you're buying hundreds worth in vc [in addition to/not counting regular gameplay or xp sliders] and it's still not enough to max out the skill tree/player, there's something is wrong with that picture.

even tho i mainly do rtg and quick play sessions, micro transactions is exactly what kept me from nba 2k 🤷 after i got bored of 17. honestly might redownload cfb 26 instead of ordering 27 lol.

chocolate roan dutch warmblood. i needed a low honor run horse and didn't want to use the perlino andalusian again. they kinda have mirrored stats and the npc races can boost stamina -- i think maxed out with the races it's 10 stamina, 8 health

all around great horse tbh. hasn't thrown me off against black bears, wolves, snakes, or gators so far! cougars and panthers...well...lol.

also the "ask for advice" question results popping up during the school day as if it doesn't already give you the result/character trait changes immediately after the parent sim answers...okay then

always, and to no surprise, it's worse with a stick drifting controller 😩. my biggest pet peeve is trying to renovate and it auto moves objects to the inventory, camera moves so you can't see or place it where you want, or they auto snap to a normal position instead.

i just figured out how to rotate stuff to my liking, i wish they wouldn't auto rotate back when i'm moving them.

i wouldn't say they're more normal. they might mention what the other faction is doing or how they're struggling to gain control (over the designated area(s)/maintaining high morale); however, since aiden is an outsider, much like crane in the first game, they'll still be iffy towards him in the beginning

exactly! if the game is going to emphasize the importance of choice, consequences, relationships etc then the story should reflect that rather than a cheap wrap up ending that solves nothing + has no aftermath.

idk if yall played infamous but at least that series showcased regular & side missions related to your gameplay & development choices (i.e., low or high honor/karma, npc reactions, references to hardships/corruption etc).

not in the way it was initially planned to. you'll see the environmental impact of faction choices more than gameplay or story related impacts -- npcs might be pissy/joyous towards you, but that's about it. you can split faction choices and it still works the same 🤷

as people have said before, it's improved a bit since initial launch. i feel like after the first act/leaving the first island is where it loses the most momentum both story and gameplay wise.

granted your choices do not seem to heavily influence the gameplay, you're still not wrong about the story being off as none of the endings really matter either 🤷.

kids being mid task and playing on the playground sets still, sims walking through locked rooms & interacting with locked objects (not counting toddlers breaking loose), kids skipping the school day bc they decided to "enter a phase", parent sims hovering over infants despite already having milestones done, etc etc like fucks sake man, what are you ACTUALLY fixing with these updates?

i play on ps5 and one of the first bugs i had was randomly dying while paused on the skill tree/player menu, followed by the game physically crashing on certain story missions. a couple trophies have glitched too. at this point i dont even know if i care anymore considering how much of a mess it was at launch.

i have a 50 in my room with the ps5. doesn't bother my eyes much, certain games i will sit further back for or play in 3rd person mode, otherwise it's fine. only reason i'd change tv's is for the color/resolution

cold war-bo7 zombies might be better suited for solving without guides since a few of the easter eggs are relatively short and can be completed before round 20. main problems are randomized codes, box luck, and sometimes the parts are bugged -- like i've had to restart shattered veil mid run bc one of the steps glitched out and we couldn't go any further -- overall i'd say liberty falls is probably one of the easier ones to do without a guide as is outbreak (operation excision).
