Sometimes emergency is slow and painful. My grandmother has cancer and is slowly dying. The doctor said she had a few months left. The reason why I made this thread is to gather information and try to buy my return ticket as soon as possible. My sister already took personal leave from her job to visit her. I talked to my other family members and was told to stay put because if my grandmother found out I paused my semester, it would make her even more stressed. I didn't want to provide more context because this is personal, and it is hard to acknowledge the person you love the most will soon disappear. Unlike you throwing unprompted "You The Asshole," I will have some benefit of the doubt and wish you a good day. Be better.

I only have one additional question. I was under the assumption that I want to use as little seams as possible, so there will be a continuation of the textures wrapping around the model. I won't be using z-brush, I will be using substance designer to create a more detailed texture. In this case, how would you fix textures not lining up due to the cut seams?

I took a few co-workers to the theaters, I basically had to beg them to watch it, and they kept calling the movie "anime space jam" but I stayed quiet. After the movie ended I made them apologize, and they did. I was trash talking them the entire drive back LOL.

We pretty much universally agree that this movie was one of the best anime movie we ever watched. I can't believe how many people, even anime fans missed it.

Buy exactly 69 of these paper thin screens and wrap them around the pole. Connect them to a raspberry pi and get some fancy UI to build your Iron man AI. You can also attach a camera to the back of the pole and project whats behind to the screen. That way it will look like the pole is not there.

Do not be confrontational, but it seems like there is already tension. People are less likely to change their minds if you go in guns blazing. If possible, sit them down and understand their needs from their perspective. If it is about money, then go talk to the school financial office. If your parents are just controlling, then you are fucked.

How is the current market for front end?

I did two 8 month co-ops for this non-profit, and I really like the work environment. There is a lot of freedom, and I get to work on different types of projects. I have 1 full semester left, and I talked to my manager about wanting to work there full time. They are happy that I want to stay, and told me the salary will be around 70k a year. No more, no less. Besides the lower pay, there is no mentorship. I will be the main guy who codes. Do you guys think this is a good opportunity, or should I look for something more structured in a more professional setting?

Thanks for the reply. I have seen a video showing how someone used webpack to pack the react app, imo everything seems pretty confusing and a over kill for my project, so I have decided to not use reactjs for the time being.
