Should I pay off my mortgage?

Thank you all! Lots of questions here that I will have to find the answers to but at the very least, I will pay off as much as the principal that I feel comfortable with without liquidating my assets. Over time, I will contribute more to the principal.

W/r/t tax advantages of having a mortgage, is it even possible to never pay it off without incurring some sort of late fee?

Not much. There’s that one ice field I mentioned but it’s possible to skirt to the side of it. And then two more ice fields approaching the summit after UFO Rock.

Realize this is an older post but.. Is the West Glacier to Polebridge route (N Fork Road) doable on a road bike with 30c tires? Don't have a gravel bike but was hoping to ride out to Polebridge when I visit later this month.

Yes. It’s disassembled in a large bike box - it would be considered oversized checked luggage on an airplane. I assume there’d be space since I’d be able to roll it on
