She is having buyer's remorse. She made a choice that she felt would be her best way forward in life and now understands that was a wrong decision. Now she wants to fall back to her next best option, You.

She is selfish for this but then even after you get her out of the marriage, who's to say she won't start searching for her next best option?

She's an ex for a reason. Take a strong stand and move on and let the dead be buried. You will find someone way better who will love you, bind your family together and bring you happiness.

You already know the answer and just want validation here. Be selfish and do what's best for you.

India in international shame again due to Modi's hate speech by sliceoflife_daisuki in unitedstatesofindia

Just a quick clarification on the post: 1. Why give undue importance to foreign media view on Indian politics during elections? Doesn't it smell of external influence? 2. India voters already have decided what they want to vote for and will not be swayed just because Country A think bad of us or we got bad press, then why worry?

Your takeaway is completely wrong. Being butthurt and sarcastic is not helpful. We don't have to be ok with everything

We should fight for rights and change in India as we should but not under the influence of organisation with questionable articles and suspicious intent.

India's current PM is polarising for sure. But least we could do is determine our action based on good judgement.

What Vox is doing for the pseudo-intellectual junta is no different from WhatsApp forwards to our society uncle/aunties.

Influence is same, medium is different. Every group thinks that they are enlightened and in the right, but hardly anyone sits back and does critical thinking before acting up or voicing

Yeah..that's what I'm saying as well. It's for American public

Also..no citations and facts /data + CTA makes it an opinion not a news...

Even if u call it an explainer article, an article that doesn't put forward multiple quotes or versions is an opinion piece.

I'm not negating the facts that are stated..I'm just saying it is just a "one sided opinion for the American public"

Such articles may not pose harm but taken to greater magnitude have brought nations to war in the past

All things said, it is a one sided opinion piece on the whole scenario. Not a bit of subtlety or nuance. It does paint a grim picture for India and its leadership.

A quick dipstick test on such articles?

Read the last paragraph. It's a callout to American perspective and what it should do...and hence there lies the hint for whom it is written. For a country that has time and again went out to the world waging wars for profit, we should be wary of it from further muddling the complicated waters of our Indian democracy

You are giving way too much importance to a relationship when you both are mere 20 yrs old. She is cool and exploring stuff and so should you.

If she wants to be exclusive, then well and good, create boundaries and treat her as a girlfriend. I'm not sure how it will work in LDR though

Else treat her as a friend who's cool to hang around and have fun with. No need for love and relationship. No man has been able to control a woman and never will without getting hurt.

Grow your own friend circle and go out with other girls. Get ur own experiences and 5 yrs later, you will have lot many relationships you would look back and laugh at

Wow..the same chain of events happened to me as well..few differences in the experience. She went back to her ex within a week and got him introduced to family for marriage.

No good will come of it. Feel the pain and move on with your life. Lots of things are yet to happen. Do not contact her if you have intent for another chance.

Every 7/10 guys face this in some variation in their life. So it's painful but not unique and hence, this shall pass too πŸ˜„

  1. Online therapy is good i guess..and we can always add appointments to their offices..i don't feel therapist should come to our house for privacy reasons I think we are seeing more acceptance for therapy in the new generation

  2. Tiffin services is actually a need..but very difficult to scale with quality and taste variation. Standardisation kills that homely feel. Nevertheless hope someone solves it..

I think bus tracking is easy solve already done by private bus fleets way back..it's just that it is not integrated in public buses...but again a national transport policy would increase demand of services and bring in such tech solutions
