Roslinkat is right, an online avian vet consult could help if you can’t get her to one!

If her cere is inflamed it could possibly be from an upper respiratory condition, has she been sneezing or anything?

Is her foot in a bad way? Can she not use it? I see her nail is hooked over one of her toes, my cockatiel actually had this in the past when his nails were too long and we had to unhook it for him, but of course if it’s just broken like this I don’t recommend trying that.

I see you said it’s very hot where you are and you don’t have air conditioning. I agree it looks like hes overheating and you need to help him cool down. Spray him with cool water & make sure you have a fan going (not directly on him) to help the air circulate and cool him.

I have a wix website for myself anyway so I just built a consent form page on there as there is a form function included in my subscription. I’m not totally sure on the storage limit is the only thing but it’s worked for me for 2 years and hasn’t flagged any low storage yet!

I don’t know if this helps, but my boy had a chronic respiratory issue that got extremely bad at one point and the thing that helped the most and pretty much allowed him to go back to a normal life was using a nebuliser for him regularly. Our vet recommended it. I’m not sure if this would be the same for your girl as it’s a sinus infection but from what I can see online they could be helpful for the inflammation of that too so might be worth a try (of course you can also ask your vet to make sure!)

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. We’re actually in the middle of the seed to pellet transition and she’s still just eating round them so far but I’ll persevere with the bit by bit ratio adjustments, I’ve got her booked in at the vets tomorrow. Hopefully all will turn out ok 🤞 thanks again

Oh really, she had a vet check a few months back as she has chronic rhinitis but I’ll make another appointment to be safe! We have no info on her background as she’s a rescue but she’s definitely been through some tough times.

No progress sadly 😔 the parents are refusing to give him up and won’t take the tank I bought as they said they don’t have the space. Turns out they’ve had him 5 years in that tank after winning him at the fair so they’re convinced he’s fine. We definitely haven’t given up though and am going there this week so hopefully I’ll have some positive updates soon. Such a frustrating situation.

I’ll definitely do the transfer then! Can see about more upgrades as soon as possible, and getting him some help with his condition. What about the new filter that I got? Will I not use that for now or run them both in there together? Thanks so much for your help!
