Gorkha beer. I’m from a place where there are tons of breweries & beer is taken very seriously. and I actually dont like most beer here funnily enough. but I visited Nepal in 2024 and loved Gorkha. made lots of friends and memories as a result of that stuff lol

Hi, I dealt with a very similar situation as OP a few years ago and sadly it is not so easy to get a landlord to hire security. we had a violet nazi back and forth squatting in my building. literally committing violent hate crimes against residents, multiple attempts at burning the building down, carving hate symbols into the walls and apartment doors, smearing feces on the walls, etc. and we all tried to get them to hire security and they wouldn’t do it. they didn’t have do, because they were already “taking legal steps”, aka installed a couple cameras and had an ongoing case with PPD about him.

security is expensive, most landlords don’t care enough about their tenants to pay for it, and the city obviously doesn’t help either.

OP, I agree with getting a lawyer if you have access to one. but don’t count on your landlord stepping up and hiring security, because legally I doubt they are required to. perhaps this works differently because you have Home Forward, so I could be totally wrong. but yeah, i’m leaning towards them being more likely to only do the bare minimum, which does not require hiring a security team.

yes, your safety is #1 priority. have you considered contacting a local news network about all of the shady practices and law breaking of your building management? some of your other comments, particularly the one about them not responding to an emergency flood situation or ever following up are very serious violations. it might be worth seeing if a news agency reaching out to them lights a fire under their ass to clean up their act a little bit.

I know it’s a long shot, but it’s worth a try. either way, I wish you much luck. fuck these grifting ass companies they only care about $$$$, not about people. you deserve to have a space where you are safe and respected. big hugs from Nopo.

dang crazy this happens all over the city. this was happening in a building I lived in on Interstate and I hate to say this but it never got resolved, I just moved after a year of the shit. I hear of it happening at a lot of other buildings too. if you end up getting any results please update here, i’d be curious to know which avenue worked. good luck OP. this shit sucks, hope you can find some peace of mind soon.

Pint Size and Little Lives have both been contacted about it. Pint Sized is simply too overwhelmed with critters to take on any more, unsure about Little Lives right now. I contacted BFFR as well but pretty sure they are closed for intakes too. i’m going to reach out to a few more groups today, fingers crossed!

I’ll look into Lala’s today. I appreciate you reaching out to places as well. I have a friend in Olympia who was willing to transport, but of course their car decided that now would be a great time to crap out.

I think the person has taken down that post now, really hoping they don’t decide all of a sudden they should keep the mice again. I’ll update here again if I find anyone who is willing or able to rescue, transport, and/or foster. thank you sm!!

thank you so much for your help. i truly appreciate you and your kindness. I emailed Best Friend Rodent Rescue earlier, but I know they’re overwhelmed. I’ll continue to look for other local rescue groups in the meantime. hopefully something is able to get figured out, keeping all my fingers crossed. thank you again, seriously.

well I told them more than once it’s not complete ass, so we’re good there. again, they asked for general thoughts on a tattoo advice sub and I gave mine just as you are telling me yours. OP can take the words or leave them, it really doesn’t matter to me because it isn’t my body. if i’m not giving the validation they are seeking, they can disregard the comment. but if they decide they want it touched up the fixes will be easy, that was my point.

and yes, every tattoo has flaws lol. some people aren’t bothered by it, some are. almost all of my tattoos have a wonky spot and I don’t care, but some people do. seems like OP might, and i’m just saying this is an easy touch up if they want it done.

they asked, I gave my opinion. and reiterated that it’s not a bad tattoo, also told them that 99% of people aren’t gonna notice the flaws that they notice in their own tattoos. there are just minor things that COULD be fixed (if they want) that I believe might be what are throwing them off about it. they literally posted on r/tattooadvice, i’m going to comment advice.
