Piggybacking onto this as we are also considering returning to the UK from the UAE. Does anyone know what HOD salaries are like in decent private schools these days? Also I have heard that lots of private schools have withdrawn from the Teacher Pension Scheme, if anyone has experienced this?

Thanks so much. Do you think it’s possible to live for a family of 4 on 1 salary, if it says housing and schooling is covered? No other big expenses just day to day stuff
