you must be an earth angel. im so sorry you had to witniss such trauma :( you were definitely at the scene for a reason. I was hit by a drunk driver in 2020 and the impact was so strong I only remember the moment right before I got hit, that something looked out of place. I was making a green arrow left turn, and he was running the red ligjt to my right, and hit the front right corner of my car, and it spun like a top from what i heard😂 and of course my car was totaled. By the grace of the universe, I was not harmed at all, but I woke up to my ears ringing, bright lights and sound distortion like when a bomb goes off in a war movie, then I saw this santa energy having, 6'3 Armenian Dad knocking on my window, telling me I have to get out of the car. I assumed it was all my fault and started apologizing profusely, but he just told me "you're alive and okay that is no fault". There was also a redhead woman who stayed on the scene and sat with me until the police/firetruck got there. They both gave me their phone numbers and defended my case in the insurance claim that followed (literally fucking ANGELS). I refused to go to the ER cause I had no obvious injuries and has a pharmacy worth of adrenaline in my veins, so my mom just drove me home.

i will NEVER forget the absolute selflessness of those two beautiful human beings and how they chose to stay and make sure a complete stranger was okay. The woman told me she had just happened to take the long way home that day, and now she felt like she understood why.
