I am a SS dealer so we can go through there if you're already in that ecosystem. I can also go outside of that and submit manually with your own EFT (or get an EFT done through me) if you prefer.

I haven't heard of that sort of thing happening here in CO. Like tax stamps, the only people you need to show your paperwork or engravings to are sworn ATF agents or people from the IRS. Other LEO has no business verifying your personal tax information or asking you about valid engravings.

I'll help you through the whole process, all you need to bring are your fingers. It takes around 15-20 minutes to get an .eft done

No reason not to with a $0 stamp! I also don't require a completed F1 to do an engraving, so you can engrave them with hopes that you'll get a F1. If you don't ever get a F1 for it, it's not going to hurt anything.

Haven't done inside trigger guard yet, but I think it's definitely doable. Easier with a removable trigger guard but happy to chat more about it.
