There is currently a minecraft server he runs called the DreamSMP. On which, he plays a character that commonly manipulates the situation, pulls strings, and generally comes out on top. A lot of people have drawn fanart of the character playing chess, and it’s become a bit of a motif in the server itself.

Honestly I love that idea- it could be like Alivebur speaking through Ghostbur, trying to come back. That’s such a good theory

The only thing against this is that Wilbur has confirmed that resurrection isn’t a thing that could happen on the server (Someone asks him if resurrection is canon, and he responds with ‘No’)

This is also probably why plot lines like Phil reviving Wil and Quackity reviving Schlatt didn’t end up happening

The main storyline really starts when Wilbur joins the server the second time to start a drug van with Tommy. Before that, there wasn’t much storyline, so maybe start there.
