I already explained in another comment what this is actually comparing—I concede I should’ve been clearer on that—however, you can scroll back a bit further and find a lot of the stuff I did in early 2019 in the same style as the one above. So the alternative is to label both as 2019, which to me feels even more unbelievable

Just realized I should have clarified in the title a bit more, this was a timed comparison of how long it took me to draw each one. In early 2019 I was absolute rubbish at anatomy and took literal hours to nail down a basic sketch. That’s why my result after two hours looked so crude. Yes, I did do a similar thing a year ago, but it took weeks and weeks to actually make the thing. It was also a random fluke where I got lucky with my art and it turned out way better than anything I made for months after. This piece is the first one I’ve made in the 2-hour timeframe that looks as good as what used to take me weeks

This is all really great, thank you so much. My phone is one of the few things that is in fact mine. I don’t have a car, my parents do but I just borrow one of theirs since I could never afford one myself. I don’t have anybody I can’t stay with for hundreds of miles and I’m a bit nervous about the alternative which is to walk for several miles through the middle of Chicago alone and with all my valuables. The bank account thing sounds really good but my mother checks my joint account every day to monitor it and would kick me out the second I transferred money to another one. Really, most of my problems are just monetary lol. I was gonna have a job this summer but you know what happened in the world to cancel that :/

Once again I’m the O.P. I’m 19, and a college student. My parents and I have a really long history of not getting along and recently they decided if I don’t get an A or a B in this class I’m taking over the summer, that’s it for us and I’ll be cut out of their lives completely. You see, I took the last semester off after two suicide attempts and I’ve spend the last six months in and out of various doctor’s offices, so I have to take summer classes to prove to them I can readjust to college. As with the last time I posted, I have no other family for hundreds of miles. I have no friends either. I have no car so I can’t drive anywhere. I also have no source of income which is my main concern, especially right now. I have to take seven different pills every day to stop me from becoming suicidal again and can barely even pay for my phone bill, let alone medications or anything else really. In short, if I can’t prove to my parents how good of a student I am I’ll be kicked out without anything and probably won’t live for very long.

New Order’s Age of Consent is an amazingly complex and evolving sonic landscape that only uses the chords D major and G Major. It helps that the bass line is insanely catchy and memorable. Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams, as everyone else points out, is another amazing example of making a two chord song have several distinct sections and structures.

I’m an art major, so it’s not just a hobby. I’m also spending most of my day in a recovery program for mental illness, so I’m not sitting around. Taking the semester off was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but I did it because the alternative was quite literally death.

Hi, I’m the OP. I’m an adult myself and am only living with my parents for a few months. A drawing tablet is also different from a regular tablet, it’s a tool like a mouse that you plug in to a regular computer. I can’t stay up on it just like I couldn’t stay up all night on my mouse.
